Oh dear lady, how sweet your dog,
How bright your face in the gentle fog.
Glittering in the morning light, like a gem,
A vision of loveliness, frill and hem.
Your lips, red and full of thoughts,
Your eyes, deep and sparkling spots.
Your voice, like a string tuned to my mind,
Imagined touch, fears I leave behind.
But though my love for you is true,
And bright like the sky so blue.
I know that I am but a wandering thought,
Unworthy of notice, only a glance I got.
So I must bid you bye, feeling sad,
And find a way to not go mad.
Of loving one so close, yet far.
In my dreams together we are.
