I eat flies, instead of fries,
They can be really crunchy too.
Humans use too much oil, I recoil,
Interferes with my glue.
I eat one fly, just one, everyday,
That's enough calories for me.
Reptilian by sketch, usually I can fetch,
Flies abundant in Siliguri.
That's the town, just around,
The northern part of indian bengal,
Himalayan bliss, it's ground I always kiss,
Gateway to the mountains standing tall.
I might I think, in an imaginative blink,
Call myself an ordinary gecko.
But I'm human by design, I'm feeling fine,
I might even say gung-ho.
That's all there is, I'll digest now this,
The fly is fat and full of protein.
The tomorrow I see, where consciousness like me,
More in poetry will be seen.
