I often think my thoughts are queer
That I should not have them at all
In the minds of men I see around me
No reason to why an apple to fall
"It's too much thinking" they exclaim
Nothing you can change with a thought
Let it be and it shall be
Don't unnecessarily rock the cot
If anything you'd age faster
Just relax and breathe deeply in
Melt those thoughts on a stiff drink
Why not a contemporary gin
Or a movie maybe an easy one
Where you know what might transpire
Fall asleep while your thoughts diffuse
There's nothing that's so dire
