A butterfly tells me how to live
He tells me he knows
There are things that are hidden
He can see in plain pose
I asked him what he saw
And he said an enormous lie
A fountain of joy on the left
All I saw, a truant and giddy fly
He laughed as he saw me stare
He said I didn't understand
A world to my eyes was closed
I needed his magic wand
I needed to see the world
Through his eyes as it were
Then I could see it inside me
Instead of looking everywhere
It's all in the mind he said
It's really a mental thing
You can see whatever you wish
Give reality that mental wring
